Biography: Laurent "Lohan" Buson was born in Paris France. He started martial arts and gymnastic at a young age inspired by Japanimation. When he was a teenager he saw a demonstration by the famous Shaolin monks and decided there and then that all he wanted was to train in their monastery. After the show he spoke to the head monk who told him that westerners could not endure the intensity of their training but this only motivated Lohan to practice harder in order to materialise his dream. Several years later he entered mainland China and travel to shaolin monastery where he trained for one year under the supervision of Shi Yong Xu and then went in the Beijing Sport University to get his degree in Wushu and where he received a Wushu athlete level 2 grade status issued by the Chinese Wushu Association. Also at this time he worked as a martial arts actor in various movies including Silver Hawk against Michelle Yeoh. After graduating he founded the Z Team. He is currently working for Z Team and training wushu with former Beijing team member Wang Xiao Na. Lohan was recently nominated for Breakout Action Star at the 2007 Action On Film International Festival for his performance in the short film Duel.
